ICT Coaches Ltd. are Norfolk’s newest coach company but with over forty years combined knowledge and experience in the industry.

Background:

Following the success and growth of local day trip and excursion company IC Travel, sister company ICT Coaches Ltd was formed in January 2019 with 4 brand new vehicles making up the fleet.

IC Travel Managing Director Ian Colman MBE, along with Alison Fenton and Simon Spencer are co-directors of the new company and are delighted with the rapid progress seen since the company started. As company owners and drivers we take great pride and care in providing the best possible service to you our customers and our reputation means that where additional drivers are needed we are able to attract and select those we consider best to deliver our company ethos.

Enviromental:

In Spring 2019 and with increasing business and the 2019 environmental regulations coming in to force in London ICT Coaches decided that the best option was to acquire new ‘Euro 6’ executive Coaches, the fleet comprising of 16, 32 and 53-seater executive Mercedes coaches. An 8 seater Executive Ford Torneo and 4 seater Executive Mercedes Saloon (both operated by our sister company, IC Travel) are also available for hire. All our vehicles are able to operate within Ultra Low Emission Zones without extra charge.  This includes the extended zone in London from October 2021.

Our vehicles are used to provide the transport for IC Travel but are also available for private hire to groups, schools, businesses and clubs for both UK and European excursions. The two companies are able to provide a wide range of travel options from an 8-seater Private Hire vehicle for Airport transfers expanding to over 100 passengers across the fleet.  The company is a member of the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) emphasising the professional approach to business.

Safety of our Customers:

The company is a member of the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) emphasising the professional approach to business.   Vehicle and customer safety is paramount and all our vehicles are maintained and inspected to the highest standards including safety inspections every 6 weeks for the coaches with Mercedes main dealers.

All coach companies are subject to OCRS rating. The Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS) system is based on data collected by DVSA over a 3-year rolling period and data is taken from annual tests, roadside inspections and inspections at operators’ premises for the following:

RoadworthinessVehicle tests (first tests, subsequent annual tests); ‘vehicle encounters’ (fleet check inspections at operator premises, roadside inspections)
TrafficRoadside inspections and prosecutions (for example, for drivers’ hours and tachograph offences, weighing checks)

We are pleased to advise that ICT Coaches Ltd.  has always been measured as Green – lowest risk.

Understanding the needs of groups is key to our success and the team works closely with customers to ensure the entire process from booking to travelling is as easy and flexible as possible.  When you contact us one of the team will be pleased to help you at every stage of the process.  We try and be as flexible as possible with office hours and often we will be talking to customers during the evening or at weekends to help with their planning.
